Screened Investment Opportunities

K4ANZ receives a large number of inbound investment opportunities every month from its domestic and global networks.

At every Chapter Forum meeting, we only feature maximum 3-4 companies or projects that are the result of rigorously screening by the K4ANZ Deal Screening Committee.

Preferences are usually given to companies or projects that are commercially proven (with revenue or demonstrable returns), are on an upward growth trajectory and has committed management teams. It doesn’t hurt if the project is also backed a recognised institutional or professional investor, e.g. one of our VC partners or a fellow K4 Chapter.

K4ANZ Syndicate Funds

With K4ANZ Syndicates, investors can now enjoy the benefits of institutional quality due diligence and deal-leading negotiations by a Syndicate Leader (typically a VC), whilst also having the freedom to choose to participate (or not) on a deal-by-deal basis. Whatever the deals invested, the Syndicate Leader - together with K4ANZ, will ensure consistency and regularity of deal reporting and board representation (where appropriate).

In exchange, K4ANZ Syndicate members will be expected to commit a quantum of capital upfront and agrees to a management fee and Performance Carry for the Syndicate Leader, similar to (but lesser than) a typical managed fund.

Private Deal Opportunities

Given our rapidly growing investors and partners network, there exists many “Private Deals” where our partners may be able to offer investors early access to upcoming IPO’s or exclusive secondary transactions.

These Private Deals are typically time-sensitive with short book-building cycles and may span across private and public equity, private debt, real estate and even buy-side institutional mandates.

We encourage members to bring forth such deals and (subject to screening) to syndicate them via fellow K4ANZ members. Crowd-source your next investor / buyer / seller through the power of swarm networks!
